Frequently Asked Questions
When should we contact you to book a Maternity Photoshoot Session?
Scheduling a session early is highly recommended. Get in contact during your 1st trimester or beginning of your 2nd trimester of pregnancy. The sooner the better is key, to avoid disappointment as I only book a limited number of sessions a month. However I do have last minute openings sometimes, so it’s always good to contact me to see.
Where is our session held and do you provide maternity dresses?
Maternity sessions are held at different locations, and it really depends on the package you choose.
For studio sessions, I have a professional portrait studio in San Diego, CA 92110.
For maternity sessions, I have a client closet of maternity dresses for my clients to use if they choose to do so. I have about 40+ gowns in my collection in all different sizes. I also provide beautiful silk wraps and body suits for my indoor studio sessions.

I booked my maternity Photo session already. What now?
Once you are booked, I send over a maternity session guide with lots of great tips to help you prepare for your session and for Dad to be prepare as well.
You will also recieve a Questionaire to fill out. This is where you will share some details about yourself and also share your vision for your Maternity Photoshoot with me. I want to make this experience as special as I can. Truly this time in your life is so unique carring life. I want to cherish this moment with you.
How long does the session last?
My maternity sessions last 2 to 4 hours depending on the package you choose.
Outdoor Beach Maternity Sessions are held 90 mins before Sunset or at Sunrise and last 90 mins.
Studio Sessions usually last depending on how many outfits we can get in and how many back drop changes we do. The Timeless session is about 3 Hours and The Forever one is about 4 hours.
I don’t like to rush the process of making sure we have you relaxed If you need to take sevral breaks or even a luch break / snack break we do that during the session. My goal is to capture you and your loved ones as genuine and keep little ones happy and also moms as comfortable.
How long after the session can we expect To See the Proofing Gallery images?
You will recieve a Proofing gallery sent to you in 14 Business days after your maternity session. Please don’t count the day of the session or any major holdidays.
The proofing gallery is open for 7 days to choose the images you would like. Then you send me a Text or email to confirm.
If you choose to upgrade to more images. You will recieve an invoice and once it’s paid editing will start.
If choosing to order printed products we would set up a call to go over the order. At any point you would like to have a call to help with choosing images. I’m here to help along the way.
Once you choose your final images and product. It usually takes another 2 to 4 weeks to receive final digital edits if choosing more images sometimes editing takes longer. Products uaully take 3 to 8 weeks to receive.
Do you edit blemishes, stretch marks or people out of photos? Or will this cost extra?
I will attend to any retouching needs for the images that I believe are I aligned with my portfolio.
I do try to do any requests that are asked.
I only do retouching after your proofing / ordering session.
Please Note: Composites, body shaping and digital background work for specialized images may have an additional cost.
Do you offer A newborn photography Session as well?
Absolutely! I am also an experienced, Top San Diego Newborn Photographer and I love to deliver maternity and newborn photos together for my families! I have a fully stocked mobile newborn photography studio with all of the props and wraps you could ever want. A Note on Health
If I am sick even with a common cold, I will reschedule your Maternity session until I'm better. I encourage you to do the same, this includes family members that will be in the session as well. Safety is my number 1 priority. I will not risk the health of an unborn baby.
